Complexity

To design means dealing with complexity. As there is neither something like ‘neutral’ nor ‘normal’, respective there must be meaning behind every detail.

As a designer, I am responsible for how I translate and manipulate these details following a cultural understanding.

The collages were developed for an article written by Andreas Koop that was published in ‘Design Austria’ in 2016. In the same year, the poster design series was created for a talk at ‘Hochschule Trier’ enhancing critical design and design research.

The visuals are a reference to collages of Bauhaus teacher László Moholy-Nagy.
