Embodiment in Design

Wrapping my head around the discourse of the term ‘embodiment’ and what it could mean for design. It crosses several topics such as human-machine-interaction or AI.

People create through their communication an atmosphere, it reflects them and their body, one could say, the bodies are in exchange. A circle of acting and reflecting evolves — a process of perceiving presence.

But what happens if the other body we are communicating with is a computer? How is that make us feel? How much influence has a UI on our mood?

Gathering thoughts for a visual study.

Occasional brainstormings going on with my dear friend Shane McLean, who describes herself as a designer, researcher, and movement enthusiast.
